Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 year old recent grad from the University of California, Santa Barbara where I studied Environmental Science and Global Studies with a minor in Women's Development. I hope to eventually start my own tech-related, environmentally-conscious business in Seattle. For now, however, I'm just focusing on enjoying life out of school and exploring the world. I'm currently traveling around Europe for the next six weeks with my boyfriend, and I hope to meet some new friends in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people and make new friends from around the world. I believe the only way to counter prejudice is through integration and humbling oneself to be open to new beliefs and perspectives. I am Vietnamese-American, and my boyfriend is a Ukrainian-German - we are living proof that nationality and ethnicity is a social construct. We are currently backpacking through Europe and would like to have authentic experiences with locals.
