ABOUT ME

I hail from the islands with Kentucky heritage. I had a great grandpa named Coon that would sooner spit on you than look at you. I am a freak magnet, which many can testify to. If you want to have some conversations with the strangest people you've ever met in your life, just follow me around for a day or two and you won't be disappointed.

I recently moved back to the states from Germany and I'm trying to take comfort in BBQ joints, hip hop and country on the radio and various luxuries to keep my mind off of Europe. Distract me!

Likes: Deutschland, watching English TV online (arrest me), the use of the internet to aid traveling, cold beer, waking up to the smell of herbal smoke or cookies, financial stability, and being polite to everyone that I meet.

Dislikes: Cruelty, yippy small dogs, hoarding, bad manners, Americans that reinforce the stereotype, tomatoes, passing judgment and chewing gum.

PHILOSOPHY

I make being helpful, generous, friendly and compassionate a priority. On the other hand, I am a sarcastic ball buster that you don't want to front with.

I was decently active in Berlin activities, have hosted in Miami, met some great people and hope to see what Asheville has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing provides a sense of community to transplants and nomads everywhere. I have nearly always had positive experiences, and have made some of my best memories with weirdos from this website.

Interesses

I very much enjoy perspective as it relates to region, culture, philosophy and sociology. Photography, art in many forms, extreme climates, creepy music, strange films and stranger people are all special interests of mine.
