Overview
About Me
We live in Saigon, where we play in a band and produce stand-up comedy shows. Brian's done quite a bit of traveling and living overseas--southeast Asia, mostly--and now that Diana's into it too, we're just getting started.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As is probably common with most people who travel abroad, our well-being has depended upon the kindness of strangers a few times. We live in a pretty cool place now that might get us some visitors, so as far as hosting goes we'd like to use this as an opportunity to pay forward some of the help that's been given to us, as well as while traveling to meet new people and see parts of the world we haven't had the opportunity to visit yet.
Whether you stay with us or the other wonderful people on here, we hope you have a safe, fun trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now there's a lot of AC/DC and Black Keys playing in our apartment, plus Brandi Carlile and other indie stuff. Lotta country music lately. Right now work makes our schedule kinda wonky, and not everything gets released here, so we watch most movies at the apartment. Been checking out so-bad-it's-good stuff recently, like No Holds Barred with Hulk Hogan and other stuff Diana hears about on podcast. As for books, Brian'll read anything, good or bad. Was on a crime novel bender for a bit, but starting to read a biography of a physicist someone gave me as a gift that looks pretty good. Diana reads mostly nonfiction stuff but she's trying to get into novels more now, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ate an iguana once with a couple friends in Vietnam. That was gross. Skin stayed blue through the barbecuing. Tasted alright, though.
Teach, Learn, Share
Diana'll probably give you a singing lesson. We could teach you some guitar, ukulele, or piano, for sure. If your English isn't great, Brian'll help you out some--he was an ESL teacher for several years. Happy to show you around Saigon a bit, too, of course, if you come hang out.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation about the places we've all visited/lived, some music if you wanna play a little guitar or something, we're happy to make dinner or buy you a couple beers if you're interested, a little cash if you need it and we can spare it, and a whole lot of appreciation.
