About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit relatives and friends and also places of particular cultural interest. And to make new friends globally.

ABOUT ME
Now six months into my second year long tour. Currently 18.06.16, in Mauritius about to move on to Madagascar.

First do no harm.
Do unto others as you would have them do to you.
When feeling hard done by, look around there are always others far worse off than yourself.
Life is Beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE On my year long trip. Will obviously reciprocate by offering accommodation to other members after my return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic hosts Roshni and Sultan Pal in Suva, Fiji. They looked after me and gave me great tips and recommendations for activities and arranged for some educational experiences whilst in their care. I experienced Diwali for the first time and it was full on. Sultan cooked me my best Fish Supper and was a true Gentleman. Roshni was a wonderful Hostess and very caring and educated. Cannot thank these two enough. I left them to tour the Yasawas and Mamanucca Islands before continuing my trip onwards to New Zealand. Now been in NZ for two months and getting ready to move on to Australia for the next 6 weeks or so.
Since this previous post I have been hosted in Hobart, Tasmania. I have since visited, Australia, Tasmania, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, USA, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, South Africa and Mauritius.
