Overview
About Me
I'm from Washington, DC, a city rich in history and dear to my heart. My religion is kindness. I consider myself thoughtful, generous, honest, sometimes insecure, adventurous, and fun-loving. I try to keep a clean and clear mind though a daily mindfulness meditation practice. I like cooking, helping others, meeting new people, bicycle touring, and gardening. The most important thing in the world to me is Community. I like that I get to express my values every day through food. I believe that people are good, kind, loving, and helpful more often than not, and that travel, especially by bike, helps us to realize and remember that truth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing to supplement WarmShowers.org while riding my bicycle around the world "on a shoestring." At the time of this writing, I'm on my 4th bicycle tour, from Minneapolis to Maine. I'm much more active on WarmShowers, as a guest *and* a host, and you can read about me on my profile and member feedback there using the link below:

A little about me as a guest:
I'm a non-judgemental vegetarian/ vegan who sometimes breaks from my dietary preferences when not doing so means inconveniencing others. I am very clean and tidy and respectful of others space(s). I'm handy around the house and am happy to help out as needed w/ any and all tasks. I'm extroverted, but also value my alone time and respect others' as well. I've been a Warm Showers, Airbnb, and Couchsurfing guest AND host many times, so have a familiarity with both sides of the coin.
Thanks for considering me to stay at your place!
