CURRENT MISSION

I've spent the past 5 months abroad traveling through China (ChengDu, Kunming), Malaysia (Langkawi, Alor Setar, Kuala Perlis, Ipoh, Georgetown, Butterworth, Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Port Dickson, Melaka, Muar, Johor Bahru, Kuala Selangor), Singapore, Thailand (Hat Yai, Phatthalung, Trang, Krabi, Koh Yai Noi, Tonsai, Railay), Philippines (Manila, Nueva Vizcaya Solano, Baguio)

I walked over 1000 KM on this trip, hitched about 7000 KM and met over a few hundred people, experiencing the different cultures in each country.

ABOUT ME

I'm adventurous, a free spirit, and fun to be around. I like meeting new people with similar interests and hobbies. I like to try everything twice and my main passion is exploring whether it be by foot, hitching, boat, plane, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Christopher McCandless has been a huge inspiration in my life. That story helped me sell all my possessions and hit the road to start a life of adventure back in 2013.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am traveling so I do not have a couch to lend to surfers, but once I get a new place and move I would contribute anyway I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met someone on CS in 2013 while bicycle touring through Illinois. I've couch surfed many times before with random people I met on the road, but this was my first CS experience from the actual website.
