Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, as a newbie to CS, I'm helping visitors to town with ideas, tips, an occasional ride and potentially showing them around town. Eventually we may have a CS visitor to our house, but since we're in a remote suburb it may be a while. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My dad had a stroke and I reached out to folks in his town for a place to crash. Everyone was so helpful. I ended up staying with family that had gotten a large hotel suite but it was great to meet with so much hospitality while I was in need. I am looking to pay it forward.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling throughout Europe and Africa. I got to meet Deaf folks in several African countries who used ASL, because the local schools were established by ASL teachers.
