About Me

ABOUT ME

I heard about this site through some friends and thought I would give it a go. I'm friendly, out-going, and love meeting new and interesting people. I'm 100% Chinese, born in the US. Primary languages are English & Cantonese...and I'm currently learning Mandarin. I love the outdoors, am super active, and a health-nut. I also love going out with friends and having a great time out in the town. Pretty much a laid-back ordinary guy that's lucky enough to be surrounded by great people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the concept of couchsurfing and hope to give it a go when I travel abroad. Happy to host when I'm available to as well to meet and make new friends.

Interests

- Health & fitness and anything that relates to it really.
- Great food. I love trying out new places and styles of food.
- Beer. I eventually want to get into brewing my own beer. But for now, and especially when I travel. I make it a point to try out the local brew.
- People. I love meeting and learning from new people and broadening my perspective of the world through the eyes of others. Just as long as they're cool and nice.
- Traveling. I can't think of too many things better to do with my time and money.
- Scuba Diving. I'm open water certified and I need to dive more!
- Sky Diving. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
- Fast cars. Love driving them and love the rush!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to narrow it down to one!

I would say it's a toss-up between learning how to fly a Piper Archer airplane and taking off and landing without killing myself or drift diving in Cozumel, Mexico. It's absolutely amazing to go diving there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm still learning so much that I'm not sure what to put here. So I'll just list some of my favorite quotes :)

--------------------------------

"Be willing to outwork your competitors daily. Whether you succeed or fail - it inherently makes you better by forging an iron will & work ethic that can never be broken.

Be relentless. Chase your greatness. Clean up your sweat.

Forged In Iron." - The Rock

"To inspire people to do things they never believed they could do, you must do things you never believed you could do."

"Life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent of how you respond to it." -Lou Holtz

"Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful."-- Mark Victor Hansen

"Orville Wright didn't have his pilot's license." -Gordon Mackenzie

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking, so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

-Written by Marianne Williamson, used by Nelson Mandela in his inauguration.
