Quit my job to travel the world!

I left New York to travel for an indefinite amount of time on April 23rd, 2014. I started in Japan and have bounced around primarily East Asia for the better part of the last year-plus. It's been amazing! I've been blessed to meet incredible people, share in fun experiences, see world famous sites, and so on.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I really love to meet new people, especially cool locals! I care a lot about the experience that my friends have when they visit New York, and am passionate that they have some great recommendations to go on. I hope for the same from the Couchsurfing community, either by meeting up or as hosts.

And of course, if I save some money on accommodation along the way, my trip can be longer!

Interesses

Traveling is the obvious first one off. The social aspect of traveling is my favorite.

I love good food and drink. Finding really interesting, unique spots for nights out.

Learning the default curse word in every language. The best one so far is 'porra' in Brazilian Portuguese. I also like learning a single random word that makes people say, "Why the hell do you know that?". (like 'mutterkuchen' in German or 'funambule' in French)

Standard issue stuff. Sports. Movies. Television. Sarcasm.
