About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do the most good for the most people!

ABOUT ME

Live in SF but I am a Browns fan. Have been going to home openers for the past few seasons.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest otherwise you're cheating others who would kill to be where you're currently at in your life. (I know it needs work)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined a couple of groups and make myself available to any person interested in grabbing a drink.

I also look out for tourists when I run into them in my city, sort of a "pay it forward" viewpoint.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my really good friends introduced me to the site and had some great stories. Since I am no longer with a travel partner, I am looking forward to meeting new people and share experiences.

Interests

In addition to working at a great job at a local nonprofit, I take on several hobbies at a time.

Currently working on my 3rd film and volunteering for the Red Cross.

Music, Movies, and Books

Naming a few - any music from the 80's, Joy Division, Toots & The Maytals, The National, Sex Pistols, The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 20's - 50's jazz singers e.g. Frank Sinatra, and Blues like Furry Lewis.

I am kind of an ADD reader. Therefore I am currently reading "2030" by Albert Brooks and the "Red Market" by Scott Carney.

TV/Film- Arrested Development, Charlie Rose 24x7, Flight of Concords, 30 Rock, The Wire, Treme, Always Sunny, The League, Louie, John Stewart, This is England, The New Tenants, The Godfather (1 & 2), Rescue Me, Modern Family, Anchorman, Wall Street, 6ft Under, Rocky 1, any art film, WW2 history docs, and anything Sofia Coppola touches.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoy traveling abroad whenever possible (this includes camping). I just returned (March 2011) from an amazing trip to London, the Netherlands, and Sarajevo where I participated in a work exchange. It was so awesome!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom
