ABOUT ME
People who know me generally describe me as laidback and easygoing. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people, and always learning new things. I really appreciate family and friends, and tend to get along with most types of people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Until writing this (March 2012), I've never hosted any couchsurfers through the CS website to date. However, during a long period of travels through Asia in 2009, I had some especially memorable experiences of couchsurfing at other people's places, and I always hoped to host couchsurfers once I returned to the United States and had my own place to share. My experiences of couchsurfing has renewed my trust in good people. Now, I look forward to meeting new and cool people through hosting surfers.
Interests
Growing up in Hawai'i, I really enjoy surfing, although I don't get to do it as much as I'd like to these days. I like to get outside and regularly exercise and engage in most outdoor and sports activities. I enjoy good food+drink, always in good company. I like to cook, watch sports, travel (when possible), and learn how to do new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most exciting moments was when I first caught a wave and stood up on my surfboard. That feeling has never left me since and inspires me to continue surfing. Watching a sunset in Hawai'i, seeing the view of San Francisco from Twin Peaks, and a canoe ride across Lugu lake in China have all been memorable.
