CURRENT MISSION
Live my life, make the world a little better
ABOUT ME
I'm a Taiwanese-American graduate student in Los Angeles. I'm not extremely adventurous, but I am sociable and I always enjoy a great conversation, especially over good food and drinks. I love exploring new towns and cities, preferably on foot, by bike, or by train. As a general rule, I like to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is hard to pin down, but I particularly enjoy loud rock and roll, 80s metal, 60s pop, some electronica, and a lot of Yo La Tengo. It's hard for me to play favorites with books but Le Père Goriot and American Psycho stand out to me. My favorite movies tend to be French New Wave or 'quirky independent romances' like Lost in Translation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It seems simple, but biking alone through Amsterdam on a cool spring day was one of the most wonderful moments of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I currently make a living teaching French, and I love doing it. I'm also relatively well-informed on architectural history and theories of human language syntax and phonology. I'm always happy to teach people about Taiwan.
