One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2011, I went to Madrid, Spain for World Youth Day (WYD). WYD is a catholic-youth oriented event where millions of people from all around the world gather together in one place to participate in somewhat of a "pilgrimage." The event is centered around visiting various religious sights and eventually aggregating into one place for a mass service given by the Pope.

There I saw every nation and every nation's flag represented at this event (all in the form of mass groups of people). There was a lot of singing, dancing, and chanting involved. I made friends with people (who I still keep in contact with) all across the globe who I would never have met under any other circumstance. I loved every minute.

^^interesting stories involved with this experience

Teach, Learn, Share

I love playing cards. Cards are defintely #1 favorite pass time. I've acquired several different games through my experience and I'm always eager to teach others how to play them (so we can play together xD)!

I really really realllyyyy want to practice and learn more spanish. I want to be able to speak fluently and without preformed thoughts (speak within the moment).
