Hey! I'm Brian. I'm 19 years old and stuck in college, sort of. I live on a small island in the northeastern U.S. and love taking pictures and making movies. Come to think of it, I think I own a functional camera from almost every decade of the 20th century (and a few from the 21st). I'm extremely grateful to be in school but the mundanity of it all makes me want to get out and explore all the more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said in the About Me section, being a full time college student is fulfilling and challenging, but it's also extremely boring and agitating having to obey a tight schedule 5 days a week. Thankfully, we get long breaks in-between semesters, especially in the summer. Come early May I'm hoping to escape for a little while and do some adventuring.

Interests

I'm an outdoorsy type, I guess, if you want to put it that way. love running, biking, hiking, swimming, surfing and especially the challenge of trying to capture it all on camera. Aside from all that, I'm an avid guitar player, I like to read, write, play video games, watch movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I somehow stumbled my way into getting cast a small role in a Woody Allen movie a while back and got to eat lunch with Emma Stone and wear expensive clothes I didn't own. It was a surreal experience, being a movie star for a day.

I'm a very affable person, and I'm okay with just about anything. I'm not a messy person, and definitely not the least bit obnoxious.
