Overview
About Me
Since I finished college, I've bounced between seasonal jobs in different parts of the world. I've gone from commercial fishing in Alaska to guiding jetski tours in New Zealand and all sorts in between. I may not be wealthy, but I've had a wealth of experiences and made incredible memories and met amazing people along the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing because a friend dragged me along to a host's house and I got hooked! The cultural exchange is great. I love meeting local people, getting advice about the area from those who live there, and really get to learn more about them! I can't wait to be settled somewhere and return the favor as a host.
Interests
My 3 passions are sports, travelling, and outdoors. And eating, but who doesn't?! I love to try new things as well! I played lacrosse, ice hockey, soccer and rugby. Travelling...well I'm on CS.... I hike, climb, bike, kayak, water and snow ski, and do just about anythin that doesn't involve sitting in an office! And I LOVE sampling local foods while I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music changes all the time. I honestly prefer listening to other people's music because I'm always finding new things that I like! My personal favorite I'll have to admit is country--typical American. Miracle is by far my favorite movie--again, typical American. I'm not sure what I'd say my favorite book is. I've read quite a few good ones, but am pretty into nonfiction survival stories or action/drama books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Successfully resuscitated someone at the Vegas airport, kissed a fish on the Great Barrier Reef, trekked 28 days in the Nepali Himalaya, got robbed in Indonesia, witnessed a monsoon in Macchu Picchu, took a nap on a hill overlooking Denali, slept in 49 New Zealand backcountry huts, got mesmerized by the northern lights in Iceland, drank one too many beers in Thailand, travelled to Norway without going broke!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have no problem talking. About anything... I'll talk about environmental issues, sports, travelling, or whatever you feel like!
