I am very adventurous and absolutely love being outside! My favorite things to do are to go on hikes through nice wooded areas (short or long, easy or difficult), rock climb, jump in lakes, and have a great time. I am super new to couch surfing but heard about it in a "Women Traveling Solo" seminar and it seemed pretty cool! I'm a pretty easy-going gal who loves to strike up a great conversation and make new, fun friends from all over the globe.

To give people the opportunity to either explore a new town, or literally, crash on someones couch if just passing through! I know that I wished that there were some place for me to stay on extended backpacking trips and getting out of the cold or to clean up! This is a great way to network and make some great pals at the end of the day.

Musica, film e libri

I love all types of music, no joke! But my current favorites are BORNS, Head and the Heart, The Weeknd, and Kings of Leon. Ratatouille and KiKi's Delivery Service are by far my favorite movies, but I'll settle for watching a good Wes Anderson film or anything with Leonardo DiCaprio/Tom Hardy (Revenant anyone?). Reading is one of my favorite past times, I love reading books about politics, religion, science (ecology, archeology, botany, etc.) and also warm, light-hearted stories, too.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

After 18 years of living in Alaska, I finally got around to doing the Crow Pass Trail in Girdwood, Alaska. It's about a 30mi one way trip through a deep, swift river with bears galore. I finished the two-day hike in just over 12 hours with a great friend of mine. It was a fantastic experience, but I probably should've gone on a better day (very cold and rainy)!
