I am fascinated by the community of Couchsurfing! Every time I visit a new city, I find myself wishing I knew some of the locals so could get a true insight into what that place is all about. I love learning new languages (I'm especially interested in learning Spanish right now). I don't think travel is just about going to a new place just to post pictures on your instagram to say you were there. To me, travel is about meeting PEOPLE and hearing their story. I want to know what your life is like in the city and what you love about it. I want to connect & create friendships with people all over the world.

In 2014, I thru-hiked the John Muir Trail in California. It's a 220 mile trail that stretches from the valley of Yosemite National Park to the summit of Mount Whitney. It took us 18 days with nothing but the gear and food we had in our backpacks. In 2018, I rock climbed Mount Whitney which was 1,000 feet climbing in the snow and dark!
