I'm a true-blue kiwi currently residing in little ol' Te Anau, and have been floating around the South Island for the past two months. I'm studying to become a freelance journalist as well as working alongside. I've got a funky French-Canadian flatmate whose as mad about yoga as she is about films. We're both avid vegetarians, muso's, and admittedly, have a functioning addiction to coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of anything contemplative, so my some of my favourite movies include 'tracks' and 'into the wild', as well as anything featuring Leonardo Dicaprio. I love reading biographies and classics, especially the likes of 'to kill a mockingbird', and much like films, enjoy reading anything contemplative.

My taste in music however, is a whole new ball game. A few of my favourite artists include dope lemon, modest mouse, freedom fry, alt-j, bon iver, and anything from the 80's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped in the Malborough Sounds for 21 days, tramping, sailing and kayaking, zero contact with the outside world... and no coffee.
