I am a 25 year old student at the University of Hamburg (Bildungs- und Erziehungswissenschaften) , I moved to Hamburg in Sept. 2016 and I love living here. I am an animal lover (I have a horse, a dog, and two cats) and love to be outdoors. I grew up playing lots of sports (lacrosse, tennis, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, baseball, softball, etc) and like to stay active. I usually go the the gym 5-6 times a week. When I'm not moving around I'm reading or watching a movie or tv series. I also love to cook and bake healthy vegan food.

My boyfriend Hauke is a 26 year old solider in the Bundeswehr. He is an officer (Obernleutnant zur See) in the German Navy. We met on Tinder (yes! all jokes aside, it worked out well for us) shortly after I moved to Hamburg almost a year ago. He is passionate about health and fitness (especially CrossFit!), languages, politics, music, etc.

I am looking to meet some new people on my travels and hopefully host a few when I get back from my trip. I've been enjoying what Germany has to offer, but it's time to see what else Europe has in store for me!

My favorite genre is classic rock: We're talking Led Zepplin, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, etc. I'm also a fan of the '60s, 70's and 80's pop classics, yeah, you heard me. Country might have a piece of my heart as well. I dabble with the bro country but everything from Brooks & Dunn, Trisha Yearwood, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney. And of course I'm a child of the 90's so all the punk angst of bands like Simple Plan and Blink 182, and Green Day. And my boyfriend has recently gotten me into alternative and German alternative. Current favorites: Kettcar and Tomte.

Currently reading Whole by T. Colin Campbell and just finished How Not to Die by Dr. Michael Greger
