CURRENT MISSION
Sharing the love
ABOUT ME
I'm an artist living in Seattle. I moved in just after a wonderful couch surfing trip from Florida about five years ago and have loved every single day since. The very first person I met here, later became my sweet sweet husband. I'm looking forward to introducing him to the couch surfing world. My husband and I are in a band called Super Plaid, so there's always music and musical instruments around.
PHILOSOPHY
If there is a chance at love, it should be taken.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to surf, although money and time are a factor for us right now. I also, at every opportunity, spread the word about Couchsurfing. Why? Because 5 years ago when someone explained the concept to me I didn't think it could work. It sounded too good to be true, but every single person I've been hosted by or even met at a Couchsurfing event has been a treasure. And treasure should be shared.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All good ones! The first couch I ever surfed was in Austin, Texas and just recently my host came to stay here with me in Seattle. Its amazing how this community grows and stays strong.
Centres d'intérêt
Writing (I write a blog called WraysofSunshine.com), singing (Our band Super Plaid is on Bandcamp and Reverbnation), merriment, cupcakes, coffee, music, hugs. Not necessarily in that order.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I suck at watching movies, but I love music. Right now I'm listening to a lot of Spoon, Phoenix, Solillaquists of Sound and Tam Tam the Sandwichman and the Magical Sugar Cookies. As for books I'm in love with classics, Catch 22 I could read forever!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One of the most recent amazing things I've seen was an elderly lady making her way to the back of the bus when it suddenly jerked to a stop and the lady fell backward. The man sitting in the seat next to her caught her before she ever touched the floor, though it didn't seem like he was even paying attention. He pushed her back into a standing position and she scooted along, business as usual around Seattle.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I want to learn more about photography as it ties in so closely with blog-writing. But I also want to learn to relax. There are certain places that make you feel like you're exactly where you belong, doing exactly what you should. Usually get that feeling when I'm in Walla Walla, Seattle, and specifically when I'm reflecting the beauty of the world right back out into my art.
