I'm new to the couchsurfing community, so I'd like to start hosting and surfing as much as my travels will allow!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once based off of this website; but I have enjoyed the tremendous hospitality of near-strangers who soon became friends before, and it is such an enriching experience.

I'm a sucker for older, interesting, singers, who offer something special. Nick Cave and Tom Waits come to mind. Ethereal electronic music. Chopin. Anything I can move to.

Books about food/food adventures/culinary journeys! I'll always enjoy a good coming of age novel with a twist; The Mysteries of Pittsburgh is one of my all time favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, following a bike trail for lord know how many kilometers out of Amsterdam, and finding myself in some of the most beautiful places I've seen in a while.
