About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Going to be working/traveling in Australia for the next year!
ABOUT ME
The seas only gifts are harsh blows, and occasionally the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the it is here. And I also know how important it is in life- not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once. To find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing the blind, deft stone alone- with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head.
PHILOSOPHY
"Expect nothing, appreciate everything"
"Discipline is remembering what you want"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am going to be traveling and would really love to experience the authentic local experience. I could stay at hostels(and probably will) but I think staying with people who live where I am going will give me a much better view of the cities I will be going to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the past I have only couch surfed with friends via word of mouth and just signed up for a couch surfing account within the last few months. I have always had great experiences. I am health food freak and travel with a portable blender so I can always make smoothies, especially for my hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Up until this point I would say an amazing thing I have done is graduated college and moved to San Francisco for a job in my field.
So the most amazing thing I am in the process of pursuing now? Traveling around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very proficient with technology, Apple products specifically. I was a Apple trainer for computers, iPhones, and iPads, and was an iPhone technician.
I am very proficient with the Creative Suite. Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are my friends.
I have been a make up artist, I not only enjoy teaching how to apply make up, I love the art form and do make up for people for events.
I have a liberal arts education, this means I really like talking about current events, literature, politics, religion, and philosophy. I am very open minded and find I learn the most from people who don't hold the same views as I do.
I'm very outgoing, which means I'm a great salesperson and at being interviewed. With a mom as a psychologist and a dad as a sales guy, it's hard for me to not be a people person. I understand how to see where other people are coming from and connecting with them on a level of understanding rather than judgement.
