I'm an adventurous, easy-going individual who strives to surround myself around others who are positive and live their life with passion. I'm currently living in Bend, Oregon with my Peruvian husband and 1.5 year old daughter. We met in Lima in March 2015, had a year of distance, lived in Lima together for a year and then in Guatemala for a bit before setting in Oregon. Peru is an amazing country and it was amazing to experience living somewhere internationally vs. just traveling through. We love all the adventuring we can do in our own backyard in Bend...Hiking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, XC skiing, Biking and on and on. So many options. Life has slowed down a bit as parents but our daughter helps us see the beauty in the details.

I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest in the US, but was living in Northern California post-university for the last decade. I loved exploring San Francisco - I was very lucky to have lived in such a beautiful place. I've worked in IT consulting for quite a long time, but did take a little hiatus as a Doula/Birth Assistant. I am intrigued by all things Birth at the moment - so tell me your birth stories or ideas for volunteering somewhere or documentaries to watch. I'm all ears!

Yoga has become an important part of my life and I could not live without music. I love trying new things and challenging myself.

Interests

When travelling, I seek out opportunities to be in the heart of it all and live as the locals would. Try the local cuisine and explore what life would be like to live in the city, town or village. Even if I can't speak the local language a smile can go a long way!

I really enjoy being outdoors but also love the city life. Going boating, camping, wakeboarding & hiking are all incredible.

Music is one of my passions. I am always up for a live show! My favorite book is Shantaram - what an incredible story. I'm currently obsessing over the Red Tent as I'm nerding out over all thing birth right now.
