CURRENT MISSION
To inspire curiosity...
ABOUT ME
To state the obvious: This is a huge question. This is due to a lot of reasons with a big reason being that I am still attempting to figure myself out. Each day new experiences and new interactions with people shape my self and my influence my thoughts. It's a wonderful place to be and I am consistently being challenged and pushed. So to attempt to formally answer the question: I am a new age nomad, ready to explore, willing to learn and my challenge is developing long term connections and relationships.
PHILOSOPHY
Currently I am living my life to discover my passion. For a long time it has been such an alien concept to me, and seeing people who have discovered what gives them purpose and meaning honestly makes me a bit envious. I certainly have interests but I have not discovered that which I could commit years of my life to develop. And so my personal philosophy then becomes one of searching and passion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have used couchsurfing numerous times now for traveling and am blown away by the immediate connection which is formed within a new city. The presence of a local has been instrumental in fully enjoying my experience and cannot fully express how grateful I am to all the hosts I have stayed with along with the hosts I have yet to meet :) I just moved back to Fort Collins, CO but unfortunately my current living situation is not open to travelers. Hopefully this will change in the future.
Interests
I have far too many interests to list here so I'll give you a small taste of them.
Recently I have been drawn into knitting, there aren't too many things which can keep me still for a long time and knitting is one of those special few. I've gotten back into the practice of capoeira and I love the way the movement flows and the interacting between two capoeiristas. Also juggling and circus skills have been on my activity lists for a while now, the process of discovering and perfecting new techniques is highly enjoyable.

Music, Movies, and Books
Without having a television for many years, reading has been my zone out activity of choice. More recently my eyes have been filled with the Dark Tower series by Stephen King (a grand 7-part epic), Game of Thrones and also other developmental/child psychology books such as "Play" and "The Curse of the Good Girl".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing which comes to mind is when I made a solo trip from Beijing, China to Hong Kong without speaking a word of Chinese. It is such a huge sense of accomplishment when you know you can make yourself across a foreign country without speaking the native language safely and having a fantastic time while you're at it.
