About Me

ABOUT ME

The magic of couchsurfing. It's how my wife and I met. One day I read a post in Last Minute NYC from a Russian woman coming to visit the city. Get profile intrigued me, so sent a message suggesting we meet up. I was just returning from Dubai, and she had a flight later that same day, but we were able to meet for half an hour, and our romance started from there. So I met the love of my life right here on CS!

I am seeking out the world's amazing people and places! I moved to New York City from Miami two years ago, and enjoy meeting world travelers who visit the city to experience the radiance they've seen in the movies.

New York has an amazing feel to it, and having lived here for a full year now, I enjoy so many things about the area, from underground parties, to hidden bars, to walking around the city and feeling the character emanate from the surrounding buildings.

In 2017 I've visited all six populated continents! From Australia, to Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Next up, Antarctica? Excited to see where the next adventure leads!

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host when available. Right now, I work in downtown NYC during the day, and am exploring the sights of the city in the evenings!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best way to learn about a new place is from the people who actually live there! No guidebook can show you the special little places that make a city unique and glow.

Possibly the best thing about Couchsurfing to me is the exchange of ideas, customs, and thoughts between two people who come from different places in the world, and grew up with a different understanding of the world.

Interests

Exploring places that I've read about in books. The Amazon River, Machu Picchu, the Grand Canyon, New York City. I enjoy the arts as well as the outdoors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hands down, the Northern Lights in Norway! An unattainable dream as a child, realized with vivid colors dancing across the sky!
