I work in a local hospital as a nursing assistant, and I'm studying kinesiology.

I lead a very active lifestyle, which includes hiking, (some) swimming, running (I'm running a half marathon June 18th), biking, and camping. My next big camping trip is mid next month with a coworker. We plan to set up camp in south western Wisconsin, and go to a local brewery after biking the trails.

I've been described by my friends as someone who is "game for just about anything" and "able to talk to anyone". I've swam with sea turtles in Hawaii and rode bulls in southern California (where my grandparents live).

When I'm not basking in the sun & breaking a sweat, I'll be catching up on the news, reading a book, meditating, stretching out in yoga poses, gazing up at the constellations, or perhaps [poorly] painting something with watercolors (my favorite art medium).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For as far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to travel. I absolutely love meeting new people and understanding what life is like for someone else.

I listen to a lot of different styles of music. If it can hook me, I won't pressed next or change the channel.
