About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet as many interesting people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I graduated from UVa in May 2011. I know that eventually I'm going to go back to school for a graduate program, but I don't have any definite plans for it at the moment. I'm trying to travel and enjoy life as much as possible. I love art, especially photography and painting. Ideally, I'd love to be able to aimlessly travel the country/world while taking photographs.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to just relax and enjoy life. Often times at UVa people stress over their futures and making the best possible grades, but I try to enjoy my life that I'm living now and not worry too much about the future. Enjoy every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted my couch several times while living in Charlottesville. I've never surfed before, but I'm planning on it in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only hosted people so far.

Interests

I love painting, especially portraits. I also really like graffiti and street art. Some of my favorite artists are Van Gogh,Egon Schiele, Kandinsky, Keith Herring, Banksy, Shepard Fairey and Salvador Dali.

I love all sports, and especially like watching football and basketball. In high school I played football, basketball, and lacrosse, and I still play pick-up basketball every so often.

I longboard all the time. I ride it to and from class and all around on nice sunny days.

I love listening to music at all times. I would love to trade music with people. I listen to all kinds of music, but most of what I listen to is hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I've done was the summer before I entered high school. I went on a 3 week long vacation pulling a pop-up camper with my family. We went to a ton of different national parks and I was able to see so many different beautiful sights that it was the most amazing vacation I've ever been on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to paint or draw. I could also share with you some beautiful hikes around Charlottesville.

I would love to learn how to play the harmonica or guitar.
