About Me
Hi there,
So, who am I?.. By now, you should already know my name, know that I am french and know that I have a PhD. For the first two, my parents did most of the job but I did most of the job for the PhD, though ;)
I don't just study, I do have a personal life as well..! I have to put swimming towards the top of the things that filled my life. I have been swimming all my life. I love sport in general: gym and hiking mainly but anything else is welcome into my life.
Finally, I have been (and still am) a geek; I can't lie about that. I have spent a lot of time in front of movies, games, series, animes, etc... And a lot a time spent looking at what internet has to say and show about this world I am living in.
Finally, I am like most people: I love food. I love good food even more! (I am not even talkign about good french food..!). I can also enjoy a few drinks, of course, not gonna lie. I like spending time with my friends, chilling at home, be all over the place, talking to new people, learning new things, living, finding solutions to problems, talking for hours, discovering, breathing, seeing, touching, loving, laughing, making lists, writing, and guess what..? Travelling! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to meet people. I have that 'travel-around-the-world' project that I am going to start in March 2018 but I don't just want to go to ho(s)tels all the time. I want to meet and talk to locals. I want them to tell me their stories, to tell me where to go for good food or good drinks, where to go for a good hike, what to see and experience in their city/country, and tell me even more about themselves. :)
So that's for the part where I go to your place. But if you come to my place (In Manchester, right now, but not gonna have an adress for a while, after february), I will do everything listed above. Manchester is a nice place. You can find everything you are looking for, really.
Also, in both situations, I can cook for you. I am pretty sure I can find something on my menu you could like ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very eclectic, to be honest. I am a fan of Gorillaz, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, John Frusciante, John Buttler trio, the ones I fogot , all the 90's rock, the 60's rock as well. I like chill music, rock, jazz, blues, a bit of electronic, a bit of everything, really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure anything extraordinary even really happened to me but I had some nice experiences in my life. I've saved a couple of lives as a lifeguard, I dived and ended up in the middle of hundreds/thousands of fish swimming around me, I have written a PhD thesis, I have be in command of a small plane (for more than 10 seconds without crashing! :) ), I have probably visited more castles by the time I was ten than most people have visited in there life. And for the rest, you'll have to talk to me ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk about anything, as I have an opinion on everything, but I'm not saying I am right about everything, though! ;)
I am sure we can teach, learn and share thing as we meet. Quite hard to do a list of it right now..
What I Can Share with Hosts
I want us to share a moment of our lives, a good one. Stories, laugh, ideas, knowledge, culture, and anything else the moment brings.
