About Me

Hey lovely people out there,

I'm Britta, 29 and have finished my studies in graphic design and worked in a graphic design agency the past years. Now I quit and currently traveling New Zealand with my handsome guy. So I can't host at the moment but would love to get to know more New Zealand people who show us around your beautiful country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is one of the best inventions since somebody invented coffeemakers. For people who can't afford hotels all the time and and like getting to know town and people from a honest perspective, couchsurfing is just the way you can combine budget travel and meeting locals. It might sometimes be a big deal as you have to trust total strangers but somehow that's part of the fun, don't you think?

Interests

My interests are related to my work and the other way around. I love being creative in many different ways but as I do it also for a living, I also like just being outside, doing sports or just chilling in bed doing absolutely nothing at all.
I love cooking, baking and eating, too and if animals are around I'm happy as .... .

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm kind of that indie rock girls and always was but I grew up in a small town so I am used to have to like different styles of music. Most important, having fun with the people you listen to it.
I love watching movies and Tv series as much as I love reading books. No way to choose a favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my semester abroad, I stayed volunteering one week on a Navajo farm in the deserts of Arizona. Best time I've EVER had!

Teach, Learn, Share

I still have to learn so many things and hope that will be this way until I'm really old and wrinkly. I'm happy to share whatever I can offer to that point we meet. Good conversations and a big portion of humor included.
