Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Wyoming and had the privilege of going to to New Zealand when I was 14, which sparked my travel bug. I lived in Germany for 6 years and have managed to travel all over the world during my years on this planet.
I am a very easy going person with a sense of humor. I have a ton of patience and get along with practically everyone. I enjoy discovering the quirky spots of a city but also love camping. I enjoy playing board games a lot and try to write stories when I can. I love to try new foods, as long as it's vegetarian. I care about the environment and always try and clean up after myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel, and I am always ready to meet new people, and exchange stories with them, and hopefully go around the city with them :-)
I have surfed a bit and also have hosted here and there.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorites movies: Stranger than Fiction, Kick-Ass, Princess Mononokee, Star Wars, and The Last Samurai. I'm an anime fan too, so stuff like Mobile Suit Gundam, Ghost in the Shell, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bepop, and Deathnote interest me. Honestly, though, I rarely watch movies or shows.
I like a lot of different music, different bands, different genres. a little list; Muse, Queen, Pink Floyd, Bloodhound Gang, Lady Gaga, 80s rock, anything disco, electronica music, German industrial/goth.
Lately I have been loving a genre of music I don't how to call. It's kind of "chill electronica", stuff like Flunk's music or Breathe by Télépopmusik. I have also been listening to a lot of post rock lately.
I love books and am slowly working on one as well as having written a few short stories.
Some of my favorites are Ender's game, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Flatland, Ringworld, the Dune series, Rendezvous with Rama, The Martian, Kafka's works, Brave New World, and many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sneaking into Machu Picchu was thrilling, and the lost city itself was just incredible
I have also been to North Korea, which is not something everyone can say.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a decently good sushi chef, so I could teach that.
I can explain some of the finer nuances of English.
I enjoy learning about physics, astrophysics, and rocket science, and we could discuss that. While I am not a pro, a few people have been convinced that I studied physics because of what I managed to explain 😅
What I Can Share with Hosts
English practice. A beer. A good laugh. A hiking/camping partner. One of my kidneys if you need a new one. Hmm, maybe not so sure about that last one considering how damaged it likely is... haha
