About Me

I am a teacher-in-training with a passion for new experiences.

I like to travel alone as I find that I am able to get more done, and see things I want to see, not just dreary 'must-see's'.

I love art, poetry, history and expressing myself through whatever form I deem necessary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel alone, and on a shoestring budget, but I am always on the lookout for the richest experiences.

I would much rather sit and have breakfast or a glass of wine with a newly found friend than sit in a hotel room on my lonesome.

Did I mention I am a poor student?

Interests

I love the feeling of waking up in a new place, the busy buzz of airport terminals, people I meet - on the train, sleeping in an airport, at the bar, visiting the library.
I love history and the mystery of what's coming next.
I love pre-loved things - books, jumpers and people.
I love live gigs and the excitement of meeting others who share the same love for who's on stage.
I love the nightlife, the day light and bathing under the sunlight
I love pasta, and wine - together and apart.
I love to meet new people, places and plants!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is possibly the most difficult section of them all!

MOVIES: Independent films, happy films, angsty films, sad films, historical films, anything with Drew Barrymore films, funny films, not-so-funny films, cartoon films, classic films, foreign films with no subtitles, any films that aren't too gore filled films.

MUSIC: My Spotify playlists range from slightly-obscure to music-40-years-my-senior to top-20-bullshit, with a little bit of classical music thrown in for good measure.

BOOKS: This is a tricky one. Reading is second-nature to me, I read napkins and instruction manuals for fun. Give me a book and I'll give it a go!
