I'm a home-loving, animal-loving, outdoor-loving craftsperson, and I love adventure as much as I love snuggling on the couch with my 2 dogs and my cat. I live to eat, see, and experience, and then tell all about it.

I was born and raised in Iowa, the land of hard work, genuine kindness, and corn.

I spent a decade in Kansas City, MO, and did a brief stint at the Kansas City Art Institute.

I now live in Sonoma, CA where I wait tables by day and blacksmith at night. I live on 3 acres in the country with my 2 dogs Charlotte and Winston, and my cat Steven, as well as 10 chickens.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I got to be one of three of the first females to demonstrate blacksmithing at the Fort Ross Festival in July of 2015. We wore period appropriate costumes and demonstrated forging according to traditional custom and technique, for a crowd of roughly 3,000 people, 65% of which came straight from Russia for the event. We got to camp at the fort, under the stars, right next to the ocean.
