About Me
HELLO! I recently graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara. I am currently a substitute teacher in Long Beach, CA. I love gardening, backpacking, surfing, dancing to funk and soul music, creating and experiencing art, making chocolate, cooking, and eating fruit. Hypothetically I run and practice Arabic everyday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met amazing people and went on awesome adventures while couchsurfing in Palestine, Israel, and Egypt. I appreciate. I love sharing knowledge and experiences and talking about life. Stoked to travel, stay on some more couches, and meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
Shit this is a challenge...there's so many.
My go-to music is funk and soul - Aretha is Kween.
~ Jazz, 90's rap, hip-hop, and R&B
~ Diana Ross, D'angelo, Kendrick Lamar, Robert Glasper, and Jimi Hendrix to name a few
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini was the first book I fell in love with. I've read nearly everything by Mary Oliver, Lucille Clifton, and Toni Morrison. Shout out to the Long Beach Public Library for lending me so many wonderful books!
Not much of a movie person outside of documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Morocco and Palestine and backpacking up the highest peak in North Africa.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to practice Spanish and Arabic, play some soccer, or go surfing together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food is my love language, I can cook you a scrumptious vegan meal.
