ABOUT ME

Without sounding conceited, people say, "She is amazing!" Because I am a single mom, I take care of my mother who lost her leg and has Alzheimer's, I have two wonderful kids, one who has Autism. I teach those with severe disabilities and am always an advocate for promoting understanding between those with and without disabilities.

Interests

I ride and show horses. I enjoy reading and writing books; though I have not published. I am active in community theatre and in promoting my rural community. I am working on creating a "companion" pony/berry farm where individuals with disabilities could come for fun and to work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been privileged to have spent time and eaten meals with Tibetan Monks. I watched Secretariat race and met him at his home stables before he died. I got to meet and talk with Billy Barty:)
