Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined Couchsurfing when I traveled to Colombia (Medellin) before grad school, to improve my Spanish language skills. I was very lucky to meet a family on the street who welcomed me to the nice room of their daughter, who was studying English in Australia at the time. Paisas are simply amazing. That wasn't even Couchsurfing! I haven't been able to "give back" yet, but I look forward to hosting when I am able to.
