Hey, I'm Bridgette! I am a full time student studying engineering in Nashville, Tennessee. I caught the travel bug when I studied abroad in the UK during the summer of 2014. Ever since, I have been itching to see the world!

I spent the summer of 2016 in Germany for an engineering internship, and I got to spend a lot of weekends with CS hosts. I was struck by the kindness and hospitality of this community.

I don't think that you can get a good picture of a place exclusively from the "top sights" section on Lonely Planet. I think that you really need to interact with the people of a community, and couchsurfing is a great way to meet these locals and exchange stories.

Intereses

I am interested in photography, though I am quite the amateur. I am interested in learning about different cultures and different ways of life. I love books and I am a bit of a film buff.

I love Casablanca, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Gone with the Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady, Roman Holiday, Vertigo, Psycho, Rear Window, and the Lord of the Rings.

Books:
I love all things Jane Austen and Tolstoy. I love the Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, the Bell Jar, Miss. Dalloway, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and last but not least, Harry-fucking-Potter.
