ABOUT ME
I graduated with an anthropology bachelors in 2011 and have spent much of the last two years living in the Adirondack Park in upstate NY working at an old Vanderbilt family camp. I'm currently hanging out along the west coast and bumming around to distract myself from the wait on grad school applications back east! Happy to meet anyone and everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Winter 2013 I'm working at an awesome, cheap hostel in San Diego so while, unfortunately, I don't have a couch to offer, I can direct you to the best, most-meals-included (breakfast and dinner!) hostel in San Diego! Message me if you're interested!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed and hosted a bit and had great experiences with both!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2010 I sort of accidentally ended up in Madrid for the World Cup Final! After a night of running around the city with friends, we got to go to the president's house to see the president greet the team. It was a pretty spectacular wrap up to six months in Europe.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn - I'd love to improve my Spanish and learn to ride a bike with no hands.
Teach - I can excavate a 19th century farmhouse.
Share - Recipes!
