About Me
Call me Carter :)
Always, I'm interested in learning about people's cultures. I love to hear about a country's history, try local food, and get a glimpse into daily life. I've been traveling on and off the last five years, and I spent the first couple years staying only in hostels. Speaking only to backpackers, I feel like I missed out so much! Couchsurfing is an incredible opportunity to connect with people who live locally and first-hand hear about a place honestly.
While traveling, I like to: get lost in a city, go for a hike, learn about spiritual traditions, listen to live music, read a country's literature, have a drink with people over interesting conversation.
When I'm not traveling, I live in Tbilisi, Georgia. I've been there the past two years, but I'm from New York.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that the only way to travel authentically is to meet and talk to locals about their lives and culture.
