About Me
UPDATE: Much has changed in these last few years. Have not been online in a few years. Will update soon...😀
ABOUT ME
I am a farmtown boy living in Seattle, persuing creative and artistic endeavours outside of the small box. I am a teacher, bartender, and advocate who loves art and music. I am a performance artist who performs in a witch themed band. Mediums also include Butoh and clown. I am a lover of the aesthetics and love and collect vintage clothing, guiding me to study apparel design at the New York Fashion Academy in Ballard. I volunteer for a local domestic violence organization and advocate for women and children who are struggling with violence at home. Overall, I am very chill and very easy-going, and tend to get along with all walks of life.
PHILOSOPHY
"Empathy, is the lifeblood of multiculturalism" -Linda Alston
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted house shows for the independent, DIY music scene. Most of these musicians produce and silk screen their own merchandise, so there is much modesty and passion with their traveling funds. Gas is expensive, food may be scarce, depending how much money was raised at a venue.
I may not host house shows anymore, but I will certainly host travelers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really enjoy meeting and socialize with with all sorts of people, you will never catch me with just a certain "type" of group. Couchsurfing.org has been a great medium for me to meet and learn from new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I currently live in an artist loft building in the Mt. Baker neighborhood (http://www.artspace.org/our-places/artspace-mt-baker-lofts) with my roommate Cheyanne and her two kids. Our building is very ideal for travelers because if you are traveling from the airport, the Light Rail will drop you directly next to our building! Buses also run directly in front of our building, taking you anywhere from downtown, to north or south Seattle neighborhoods. We are a green building and do not have public parking garage, but we do have a bike room in case you are traveling with a bike. We are an LGBT/Queer friendly household, so if this bothers you, we are not the place for you.
