I am: A young, creative, mellowed-out chick seeking adventure.

Currently I spend my days (and sometimes nights) working on a number of social, environmental and arts-based projects related to community development and public space (www.stepsinitiative.com).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a passion for understanding sustainable and alternative possibilities for living.

Given that I already love playing hostess and showing off my city and strongly believe that you can only truly get to know a place, by getting to know the people who call it their home - I have landed here at the CS network and I'm pretty excited about it.

To date, I have hosted a number of CSers at my Toronto abode, as well as had the pleasure of resting my bones on some the couches of some delightful fellow CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A summation of my first official couch surfing experience: a weekend full of Typhoid, bananas, bull rides, tattoo parlors, greasy Chinese food, playgrounds and tongue touches... then to cap it off my couchsurfer fell asleep on the roof. In conclusion, it was a blast!

In the past, I have been lucky enough to have been hosted by many wonderful people in Argentina, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and Newfoundland. It were these individuals whom made my travels the meaningful experiences they were and I would love to try to provide that to someone else.

Interests

Where to start... I am pretty much interested in anything and everything from art and music to cooking, cycling, the great outdoors (love to camp) and of course travel!

I'm willing to give just about anything a try. I love photography, listening and making music, dance, both creating and enjoying beautiful food inspired from around the globe and of course bouncing around the world any chance I get.

I love interacting with people on any level, especially those who are different from me. I thrive on sharing my experiences with them as I learn from them.
