About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know the world and I better and save them both if possible, whilst loving and being loved well.

ABOUT ME

I think therefor I am bananas. No I'm not really. I'm far too sensible. No, I'm a compulsive liar. No, that's not true either. If I say everything I'm not, eventually we'll get to what I am. I'm...

PHILOSOPHY

To care deeply but have a lot of fun (if that combo is possible). Lapping it all up as much of the time as possible. I've learned loads and it's not all been easy, but I'm happy and energetic - nearly crazy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travelled indepently in a few places, India at the age of 18 being the most mind expanding.

Music, Movies, and Books

Prefer movies and books that are a little more subtle than the mainstream. Emotional without being over sentimental (hollywood style). Anything quirky/ offbeat/powerful/whimsical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like telling something a bit different here in response to the pressure ; ) I saw a man go back to see a Japanese film in which a son carrires his aging father on his back across a river. The man who returned to the cinema brought his son so that they could share the moment and the understanding.

Personally, I accidently purchased an entire chocolate cake in Bombay and had to hold it above my head on the rush hour train in the blazing heat - as if I didn't stand out enough. It's an amusing story.
