About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have a nice time

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old journalist. I like to party in my kitchen.
I strongly believe that critical thinking is infinitely more effective in life than wishful thinking.

PHILOSOPHY

If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mum, your dad, your teacher, your priest or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then YOU DESERVE IT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Always surfing and hosting where I can, now I'm settled in Edinburgh.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Japan with an amazing girl who had hitchhiked through the Balkans, showing up at tiny villages and asking the locals if she could stay with them. I immediately wanted to live like her. Since then i've couchsurfed across Europe, Morrocco and even Greenland, and I'm just getting started.

Interests

I'm interested in people and their passions. It's so weird how people can be completely and utterly passionate about something that you consider totally mundane, like grasshoppers' breeding patterns. Some people are really into that you know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This question is too hard! I think everyday things are amazing, like people laughing completely wildly and making ugly faces. That's a nice thing to see. Interviewing and going out to dinner with Gotye in Japan was pretty fun too. But probably my favorite experiences are those moments of complete, delirious laughter that usually only happening while travelling, when everything is going wrong.

Countries I’ve Visited
