Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I've found friends and family in unthinkable places of this planet. I never imagine how close I will get to someone after sharing a space and meals for some days. Couchsurfing can be so authentic.

I get to know a little piece of how life is for a local, their day to day, what they eat, everything! It adds a noteworthy value to my exploration of the world.

And is both cool to stay with people who don’t travel as much but they're open to bring the world to their couches! Some others empathize with us travelers because they’ve have traveled/couchsurfed before.

Couchsurfers are amazing, even if they have their own activities and schedules, they find the time to welcome us and when possible, share time. Travelers and hosts have a unique way of understanding each other.

Interests

Sport climbing, rock climbing, outdoors, always learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some beautiful books:
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran

Some cool movies:
Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Taika Waititi
Everything Is Illuminated, Liev Schreiber
Fight Club, David Fincher
Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton
Alice Through the Looking Glass, James Bobin

Some songs I keep repeating:
Quil's ont the la chance, Diziz
У нас есть всё, Samoe Bolshoe Prostoe Chislo
This Is The Life, Micky
Esto No Para, Kase.O
War / No More Trouble, Bob Marley and the Wailers
Otro Mundo, Manu Chao
Politik Kills, Manu Chao
Roots in the Air, Iseo & Dodosound

I listen to a lot of music. It depends on my mood what I like to listen to. Top genres would be rap and reggae, but there's a lot of other music that I enjoy. Definitely like singing and dancing all of the genres! And I enjoy listening to other people's music taste, that's how I grow my playlists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitchhicked 1305 km in less than 48 hours
going 150 meters underground in a Mexican cave
jumping on a little plane with a friend in Guate
skydived in Turkey
scubadived in Honduras
sailed the Spanish waters

Teach, Learn, Share

We could share a yoga practice, a cup of tea, some salsa moves.
We could practice French, Italian and Russian if you're learning too:)
I can help you with any Spanish question if you want to improve the language. I'm a Spanish tutor.
If you feel comfortable, I might take some spontaneous pictures of you 📷

What I Can Share with Hosts

Motivate you to do something you've never done before! Even joining you :)

Expect to host a respectful human being, someone who appreciates honest communication. An open minded and calm person.

I appreciate you hosting me, so I can offer anything that is meaningful for you. Could be a meal, to do something for your home, sharing an outdoors adventure!
