About Me

In order to create a clearer image of who I am, here is some foundational information about me:
1. I’m a triple Pisces ♓️
2. I’m an ambivert 💃/🧘‍♀️
3. My dog Nelson is the absolute joy of my life ❤️

When I travel, I travel with little to no expectations and no plans. I enjoy living life by going with the flow with my only guidance being my heart. I have two different version of myself; I am capable of being very social and being the life of the party when my energy is high. The half of me is my recharging stage; frequently, I enjoy being calm, reading a book, drawing, stretching for hours and being out in nature.

My greatest passions in life is having a healthy natural environment, creating community, and caring for all other animals we share this planet with. I’m interested in being involved in permaculture, animal conservation, and regenerative design.

The qualities I value most in individuals are honesty and compassion. I am a spiritual being and love practicing yoga, meditating, journaling and using medicinal plants as tools. I also love learning about different religions and different philosophies. Im interested in learning your perspective of life ✨

I am so excited to connect with others, meet people who will change my life for the better, share many unique experiences together, and create a global community. 🌞🌻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Experiencing different cultures, ways of living, languages, and people is what I live for. Learning in an environment outside of school by observing from people and communities is what I hope to gain through couchsurfing. I believe that when individuals become more acquainted with different perspectives of life, they become better informed about the world and today's society. Couchsurfing is an easy way to be able to get close to individuals I otherwise may have never met. Through this application, I hope we can exchange knowledge, stories, experiences, and understanding for each other.

I am now interested in hosting people as a way to give back all the amazing opportunities i received during my time surfing (:

IMPORTANT FOR POTENTIAL GUESTS:

I am currently a student on my last semester at UC Berkeley so if you stay with me, you will get the unique opportunity of experiencing the American college lifestyle! With this being said, you are welcomed to join some classes with me, come study in the campuses breathtaking libraries, attend a UC Berkeley club with me, visit cooperative house where my friends live, attend friend picnics, and overall, hang out with me and my friends. You will basically be a new member of my friend group (: therefore it is super important that I vibe with you before accepting you as a guest, so I will be picky on who I choose. I would like to have a FaceTime call before I accept your request. But if you’re cool, adventurous and want a fun and unique experience, i think I will definitely be the perfect host for you! I look forward to making new friends and showing you my life in Berkeley 🌞✨

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge music fanatic. I'm into many genres and some of my favorite musicians/bands at the moment include: chet baker, cotton jones, radiohead, toro y moi (older albums), francoise hardy, natalia lafourcade, khruangbin, phillip glass, goth babe

Unfortunately, I am faintly educated in the world of cinema...I rarely watch movies but I do appreciate suggestions in this arena! Although, I absolutely love Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and I am a sucker for any Wes Anderson film. I also looooove watching the Twilight Zone and anything filmed prior to the 1970's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since the closure of school back in March of 2020, I have been hopping from place to place, attempting to live a very minimal lifestyle with just my prius and laptop. It has been challenging with many times feeling emotionally drained, but through this time of difficulty, I have opened my eyes to new perspectives and gained deeper appreciation for opportunities that come my way. I am forever grateful for those who have helped me with food, housing and a shower during these times.

Teach, Learn, Share

On my journey, I hope to learn more languages, more traditions, and more about how locals live their day to day life. I hope I find life changing lessons along the way, I hope I find people who make me question my philosophies, and I hope to learn how to make authentic pasta. 😆

What I Can Share with Hosts

Joy, whether it’s through dancing, laughing about the silliest things or exchanging stories. I find myself to be an optimist and I try to spread to joy/optimism with a contagious smile 😄

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Colombia, France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand
