Hi! 🖐

I'm Brigitte (or Bridget), a parttime teacher in elementary school (teaching the newcomers: refugee- and expatkids these days).
I am a conscious, easy goin, versatile and social human, who also likes and needs quite some time alone.

🎶 I play the piano and a little bit guitar and learning to play the handpan since short time and I love it!
I also ❤️ walking in nature, reading, listening music, meditate, going to parks, making a campfire, deep conversations, drinking a white wine, dance, culture, art and creativity, Jesus and the Holy Spirit 💫
I eat ketogene (/lowcarb) and as much as possible biological/organic. 🌱

I live in the beautiful city Den Bosch (also still being called 's-Hertogenbosch sometimes), wich is the capital city of the southern provincion North-Brabant in the Netherlands.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In 2016 I was lookin for a nice host to stay at in Barcelona trough couchsurfing (wich I had already heard great stories of since 10 years ago) but then I discovered more on couchsurfing and found out how much fun the Hangout is for example when I visit other cities.
I like to meet up with other people when I'm visiting other countries, but also in my own country or even my own city. I don't have very much experience yet, but have met some great people trough couchsurfing.

Update 2023: Last years I have not been on CS as I had a very bad experience and needed to win my trust back into people.
And also because of travel-restrictions I had to deal with, because of C19.
I prefere a videocall before hosting.
I do want to host occasionally, but only with likeminded people...

If you can host me in your city as well, that would be great. Most of the time it will be on saterdays, sundays and mondays that I will be able to host.

Update 7 july 2025: Having more than a month vacation:) I like to meet up with likeminded people in Amsterdam, Utrecht, my own city Den Bosch or in a European city. We will have the Theaterfestival Boulevard in my town from 7 till 17 aug.

Movies: thrillers, sf, psychological, comedy.
(I don't look Netflix that much anymore, but some series I liked a lot are Sense 8, Breaking Bad, La Casa de Papel, Orphan Black, OITNB)>> I rather watch docu's than movies.

Private room with a single bed or double matrass on floor.

Shared bathroom/kitchen.

Quietness is wanted when I'm sleeping.
We can share dinner and/or breakfast/lunch and if we get along well and I have time, I can show u my city and/or we can have some drinks in town, go see a band/concert, or we can go for a nice walk in nature near my town.

I live 8 min. walk from the trainstation.
