About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel and see as much of the world as I can. Oftentimes people become too sidetracked by life and forget all the wonderful things they wanted to accomplish or witness. That's not what I see for myself; I want to travel and hear about other peoples' travels as well, experience new things and never stop challenging myself. Ultimately, just live a life worth living.

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid-back person who loves to laugh, travel, and learn whether it's from other people, in the classroom or through living life. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Advertising/Graphic Design and decided to go back for my BSN in Nursing. I'm just figuring out life as it comes and trying to enjoy where I'm at while I'm here. Check out my website if you want to learn more about me: http://brighenrie.wix.com/brigitte-henrie

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed myself but I've heard great things about it and decided it would be a great way to help fellow adventurers out and also live vicariously through others.

Interests

Couldn't possibly list them all: Hiking, volleyball, movies, reading, learning, laughing, wine, skydiving, helping when and where I can, camping, dancing, doing the unexpected...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Germany for 4 months and did some extensive traveling while there. I've traveled to Ukraine, Paris, Jamaica, Italy and a few states here in the U.S. Seeing the Colosseum, Mona Lisa, and Eiffel Tower were some of the most surreal moments of my life. Deciding to live in a country where I knew absolutely no one and had a very tenuous grasp on the language was the best/most amazing risk I have taken.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
