ABOUT ME

For years I wanted to travel and never really did. I went a couple of places but I always had excuses to not travel more. Eight years ago my husband and I took my son on a month long road trip across the mid-west of the United States. We tent camped in every state in various National and State parks! It was amazing!!! I can honestly say that now, I can put together a tent with my eyes closed. Now, my goal is to visit every state and then eventually travel abroad. After that trip I realized that hotels are no good.. I want to travel the right way! I'm good company, so is my family. My husband is a high school band director and I'm a high school choir director so we'll talk your ears off about music. My teenage son is hilarious, witty, sweet, never rude, and incredibly musically gifted. A little energetic and dramatic at times, but what teenage boy isn't? My little toddler is a ball of energy, and so much fun! He never stops moving and loves being outside. I love meeting new people and learning new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Try new things. Laugh a lot. Enjoy the outdoors. Hug your children. Love with all your heart. Sing. Listen. Learn. There are more important things in life than perfect housekeeping.
