About Me
CURRENT MISSION
A new point of view...
ABOUT ME
My husband Nikolaus and I run a theater together in Berlin. We keep ourselves very busy producing and performing theater and performance works, and being active in a number of social/community projects.
I am a travel addict (in fact I can't seem to sit still for more than 8 weeks :), love experiencing new things, meeting new people and cultures.
I am spontaneous, open and passionate about life and learning...
PHILOSOPHY
Be a modern day renaissance person. You can learn more through travel than you ever could in academia;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love couchsurfing as a means of coming closer to the culture. I can't understand the concept of traveling to a foreign place only to sit in an anonymous room which could be anywhere in the world with cable TV.
It is amazing to experience an instant connection, with compassion and trust that leaves a good feeling about the world and human kind in general.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am couchsurfing and hosting constantly- although you may not see it on this site. Through my travels, I have met so many people, that almost everywhere I go I know someone who knows someone where we're headed, and also often host friends of friends headed to Berlin. I guess you could say Facebook has become our couchsurfing.org...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of our performance projects took us from Berlin to Istanbul in a van, stopping off in 10 different countries along the way, exchanging and creating folkloric practices.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sometimes getting lost on the way is the best thing that can happen to you.
Karma can be real.
