I'm a writer. I love to travel. I pack light, mostly with memories. I live to create experiences and moments because money is not exactly very handy to carry along, I mean only to the grave, of course! I live life being grateful for every moment and I live it like it were my last.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to backpack around the world, collecting and may be even pack with me, some fresh air from every place I travel to. If I can't then I'd just stick to memories, experiences, moments and flavours. I would like to meet genuine travellers who make every place that they travel to their home because that's how I wish to live.

Interests

Apart from writing fiction, I act, make films, work as a journalist and also write for brands. I love to experience new cultures including learning to cook new cuisines and new languages. I love writing about technology, sustainability, arts, food and life itself.

I'm an extremely outdoor person. I'm a marathon runner, scuba diver and I'm hoping to start training soon for triathlons as well. I like to trek, cycle and hike.

Oh! I almost forgot, I love doing road trips and the sea!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to all kinds of music from classical carnatic to hard rock. But my personal favourites are Sufiana and Classic Rock.

My favourite films hmm... let's see... Good Will Hunting, Les Acacias, Drive, Baran, Minnale, Lunch Box, Grand Budapest, Seventh Seal and many others.

Books?? It is ironic but true that though a writer, I don't read too much of fiction. I love fantasy fiction - Harry Potter, Percy Jackson series, Trudi Caravan's works. Apart from that, I mostly read non-fiction around the digital media, development, sustainability and especially spirituality.

I would love to teach about Indian food because I have been cooking since I was 8 years old and I love to cook. I can also share the state of the digital industry in India, thanks to my work as a technology/business journalist! :)

I would like to learn languages, more about food from different parts of the world and the cultures in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a hearty Indian meal with lot of love for my hosts.
