About Me

music enthusiast, melancholist, "outside the square" thinker.

I love having a good chat over a glass of wine and/or food.

At home I used to actively support refugees and been member of a highschool group educating pupils about forms of racism, homophobia, bullying, politics etc.
to make them aware of the problems people in our society are still facing.

In the future I'd like to participate in organizing music festivals and try to be a radio host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No hostel can't beat meeting locals in their homes.

Interests

Music - even if I'm far from being an artist music and arts are able to make me emotional all the time. Concerts and festivals are my happy place and I just love being part of a crowd screaming the same song which got an individual meaning to them all. If I'd had to chose an element water would be mine. I love the ocean, stargazing, cooking, yoga, politics, nature, good views, taking photographs and writing.

Music, Movies, and Books

The perks of being a wallflower gets me everytime I watch it. Otherwise I like Sherlock (BBC), Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Inception, My neighbour Totoro, etc.

I love going to the theater and the best play I've ever seen is Hamlet in my home town - so I like the book too.
Currently reading "Jane Eyre" and "A short history of time" (physics is so hard). I now rather read more articles and studies than books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Icebathing in Sweden, Skydiving over Wanaka, Hitchhiking across NZ's south island, swimming in the mermaid pools

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some German but I feel like everyone knows the basics already :D Learning about culture, environment and language would be really much appreciated. I also love food.
Sharing my travel stories is always fun and if you have a kitchen I'm willing to make some food for everyone who is there. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills, wine, funny travel stories, a taste of the music I listen to :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, France, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, New Zealand
